In line with the ongoing underwater repair operations of the pilot vessel “Bostan”, currently being carried out by the specialized technical team of Negin Sabz Middle East Marine Engineering & Services Company at the Amirabad Port branch, a valve leakage testing device was designed and manufactured by the branch’s technical team in order to enhance repair quality and reduce maintenance costs.The device is capable of testing leakage in various valves, including overboard valves, sea chest valves, and other related engine room systems. The testing device was examined in the presence of representatives from the Classification Society and the Supervisory Authority, and was successfully approved following testing procedures.This achievement marks the first localization and development of docking-related valve testing equipment in the northern region of the country.
